Poke Bowl (Hot)
For all you know, you may be spending a hefty amount on poke bowl while dining outside. There are ways to reduce the cost. Prepare your own healthy poke bowl (hot or cold) with your favorite food. Put them together on a bowl and let the beautiful mix of colours pop. Get pleased by the looks of it, while indulging in a clean and delish diet meal. With the selling price outside, you can easily prepare a meal for 2.

Ingredients

  • Salmon
  • Rice
  • Edamame Bean
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce

  • Teriyaki Seasoning (or any Grindstone Seasoning)
  • Turmeric Powder

Direction of use

  1. Marinate salmon with Grindstone seasoning powder. Add one tablespoon of water. Mix and rub on salmon. After which, rest salmon for 2 hours.
  2. Prepare the rice. Wash rice and add water. Add a small amount of turmeric powder and mix it with rice. Leave it on rice cooker to cook.
  3. Prepare the other ingredients; Boil edamame bean. Add a pinch of salt to season. Remove beans from pot when cooked. Leave it to dry.
  4. Cut and wash other vegetables (tomato and lettuce).
  5. Oven bake salmon for 20 minutes.
  6. When salmon is ready, assemble ingredients on a bowl.
  7. Ready to serve! Enjoy!

  1. Prepare necessary ingredients. Wash and chop into portion size.
  2. Marinate chicken with 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and onion powder respectively.  Rest chicken for 30 – 45 minutes.
  3. Prepare the curry paste for frying; add 2 tablespoon of curry powder with water and mix well.
  4. Heat pan with oil. When oil is ready, fry shallot till golden brown. Add curry paste and continue to pan fry.
  5. Add chicken into pan. Continue to stir fry. Add lemon grass and curry leaves for more flavourful curry gravy. May add water if paste is too dry.
  6. When chicken is semi cook, add potato in the pan. Continue to stir fry for 2 -3 minutes. Mix the paste around chicken and potato.
  7. Transfer into a bigger pot (if required). Add water until the pot is half filled. Boil for 30 – 45 minutes.
  8. Add salt and coconut milk after 30 -45 minutes. Boil for another 15 minutes.
  9. After 15 minute, off stove. Ready to serve. Pair with rice/ bread.
